Contemporary and transitional style vanity cabinets have taken over the
standard traditional style. Floating vanities and open shelving offer a clean and modern appearance. Wall hung vanities make a small bathroom appear larger. They come in many configurations, sizes, and finishes.
Vanity Options
Wall hung vanities have the options to be installed at your desired height and can be used for handicap applications. They not only make the bathroom look airy and spacious but it is easier to clean underneath. It is an updated design and can be used in any style bathroom. However, they have less storage than a standard traditional style cabinet so additional storage space is required for towels and personal items.
The standard vanity cabinets come in various heights such as 30”, 32.5” and 35”. Door styles can be traditional, transitional and contemporary. You have the option to substitute the toe kick for wooden or metal legs to lift the box off the floor for easy cleaning.
Countertops
As far as countertops go, granite, Corian, or quartz, including Silestone,
Caesarstone, and Cambria, are the most used materials. Granite will require a sealant while quartz and Corian will resist stains and water marks.
Installation and Configurations
Installation of wall hung vanities requires a professional who is aware of the studs in the wall, in order to determine the maximum height it can be
installed, and that the plumbing comes through the wall.
We offer many configurations, styles and finishes of wall hung and standard cabinets by Bertch, Ronbow, Lacava and Martin and professional installers. We are offering 20% off all vanity cabinets until February 28th. What a wonderful Valentine present for the one you love.
