Welcome home to Sharon in her new home remodel!
Sharon did not want to move from her neighborhood but wanted to renovate and remodel her home. She desired an open floor plan on the first floor with a bedroom and full bath for her mom. On the second floor, she wanted two bedrooms, a hall bath, and a master bedroom with a luxury bathroom. “I am throwing everything away down to the pots and pan,” were her exact words. A home renovation and remodel were at hand.
The Kitchen Renovation
George of A.G. Building and Remodeling and Mary of Magazi Kitchens and Baths met with Sharon and her son in the showroom, and we listened and talked about their desires and ideas.
Their new front door opens into a wide hallway, leading to a large open kitchen and family room. After looking at several door samples, they picked a shaker door with slab drawers. A modern two-color kitchen appealed to them; thus, white wall cabinets, blue base cabinets, and a blue island with an overhang for casual eating came to life. Every cabinet serves a purpose with functional spaciousness and uncluttered surfaces. Sharon loved the pyramid hood we had in our showroom, and we included it in our design. The island has a microwave oven which makes it more accessible for her mom to use. Her son bought the widest T.V. that he could find and comfortable leather sofas for the family room.
The Bathroom & Bedroom Remodel
Down the hall is the Grandmother’s bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom has a 33″ wide wood-stained vanity, a walk-in shower with a seat, and a handheld shower with an adjustable rod. Upstairs are two nice size bedrooms and a hall bath with a glass-enclosed shower. Sharon’s large bedroom opens to a white porcelain marble-tiled bathroom with a free-standing tub by the window, a grey 42″ vanity, a large glass-enclosed shower with a seat, and stainless fixtures. In the evenings, Sharon relaxes and rejuvenates in her luxury bathroom.
Sharon’s Home Renovation and Remodel
Closets were enlarged, and some removed. Walls were removed, and stairs to the kitchen were gone. Some floors were finished, and in other areas, new flooring came. Additionally, recessed lights were installed in the kitchen and family area to create a renovated home. On the exterior, the home received a new 30-year Timberline roof and new siding and gutters.
Sharon was thrilled with her beautiful remodeled home, and all of Sharon’s neighbors came to see the beautiful home renovation.
